About the Product:
Acquario is an incredible collection of walnut boards in different colors and shapes, featuring various fish species. Each one is a work of art designed by Stefano Pilato, complete with the artist's signature. Acquario is fun and imaginative, and creates a joyful and entertaining table.
The fish can be used both as cutting boards and serving trays, but they can also be hung on the wall as wooden sculptures. Each board has a steel ring on the top.
The collection comes in two unique pieces: Moby Dick (white); Blue Fish (deep blue finished with a steel mini bowl for sauces or snacks); Pinky Salmon (with a special gold vacuum packaging) - LAST PIECE
Acquario’s artistic shapes bestow a creative modern look on your table and can be easily combined with porcelain and ceramic tableware.
Except for Pinky Salmon, which has its own special packaging, all the other boards come with a complimentary hessian sack, making Acquario a precious gift not only for food lovers but also for design addicts and lovers of the sea.
About the Collection:
Stefano Pilato lives and works in Livorno, Tuscany. He has a master in visual arts and has been working successfully as a graphic designer since 1987. Living by the sea, he was always attracted by driftwood and all the materials washed up by the sea. In 1993 he decided to develop an artistic collection of sculptures titled “Pesce Fresco”, a colourful and creative world of hanging fishes. Today Stefano designs and creates installations, lamps, mirrors and stage objects for many important companies, by assembling woods and recycled materials.
