The delicate engraved flower motif, handcrafted on the finest ceramic, finished with a terracotta rim, celebrates elegance and charm. The artisanal craftsmanship of the Azzurro dinner set is evident both in the design and in its outstanding strength.

The place setting consists of three pieces: a dinner plate, a side plate and a unique scalloped soup and pasta bowl in a bright turquoise color (available also in other colors upon request – see palette in the photo).

Azzurro’s rustic-deluxe style does not require many accessories to make a refined impression: a white linen runner and napkins and a delicate plant as centerpiece is all you need. For a ‘softer’ look, we suggest the Aqua dinner plate.

NOTE: Possible imperfections are due to the handmade nature of each item.

About the Collection:

Grottaglie, in Apulia (Italy) is a renowned centre for the production of ceramics and pottery. Founded by the Greeks in the 2^nd century B.C, “Kruptaie” is surrounded by rich clay deposits, huge caves, and niches dug into the tufa, which are the perfect hiding spots for large wooden ovens required for firing crockery.

In this setting, Fasano throwers, decorators, and kilnmen have been working for 18 generations to become market leaders in the manufacturing of traditional earthenware. Despite competition from industrial producers, Fasano Ceramiche still decorates each dish by hand and creates unique collections with limited editions like this one made just for DishesOnly.
