About the Product:

These Cerveteri handmade bowls seem like they were carved right out from the walls and pavements of Rome.

Inspired by Etruscan pottery consisting of rough ceramics, which were made of a simple mixture of fire-resistant dark clay, the artisans of Forme Roma return to these origins and renovate a classic kitchen element with more than 2000 years of history. Indeed Cerveteri is the name of a small town near Rome which has Roman-etruscan origins.

A basic, multifunctional, timeless must-have with outstanding strength, dark rough edges and unique hues.

The Cerveteri ceramic bowls come in two different colors, white and yellow, and in 3 variants: without handles, with straight handles and with curved handles.

NOTE: Possible imperfections are due to the handmade nature of each item.

About the Collection:

Based in Rome, Forme is an authentic "art studio", applying artistic techniques of decoration and restoration to each of its handcrafted and unique objects.

Surrounded by the architectural beauty of Ancient Rome, Forme reinterprets the shapes and colors of the Classical Age both in its ceramic and glass product lines. Forme's ceramics are modeled with black clay which gives strength and adds a special transparency to the collection.

Additionally, glass items are handmade using glass fusing and sculpture techniques.
