About the Product:
Alice is the ultimate serving set of small bowls and plates that will leave you breathless! An extravagant and out-of-the-ordinary range of different handmade porcelain components that can be beautifully arranged on different sized trays or with stand alone mini dishes.
Mini cups, bowls, saucer and plates can be used for a variety of purposes and in different combinations: as a dipping bowl set, for sampling foods, for appetizers, tea party or snacks; perfect even as a coffee set with a milk saucer and a square sugar bowl. As in Alice in Wonderland, everything is small, versatile and fabulous.
The collection features two different sets, both with pure gold décor and finishes. The bigger square set includes two square dishes with a gold rim and a bowl with a gold spot in the middle.
The smaller set includes two cups with a stylish handle, a saucer, a square dish with a little spoon and a square tray. Taken together, they epitomize class and sophistication.
Alice is essential for stylish gatherings, and also makes a perfect gift for a very special person. Combine it with Linee dinner set.
NOTE: Possible imperfections are due to the handmade nature of each item.
About the Collection:
Potomak Studio is a workshop based near Trento, in the north of Italy, where unique porcelain pieces are designed and manufactured entirely by hand, from shaping to coloring to glazing, by Donatella Parotto and Mauro Bonvecchio.
Producing each object is a challenging endeavor. Many pieces are thrown away because of the workshop's strict quality controls and the complexity of the production process. The watercolor effect seen in each piece requires the delicate task of developing textures with special finishes before the final baking process, which can last up to 15 hours at extremely high temperature of 1250 degrees. The results are amazing in terms of the brightness and light-weight nature of each item. They're definitely worth the hard work!
Customized table sets can also be made on request. Check out the different colors available.
